Order and delivery transparency
Shipping Policy
Tuong Hoa ImEx JSC handles engines, spare parts, and industrial equipment that often require careful inspection, packing, documentation, customs clearance, and freight planning. This shipping policy explains the usual process and the responsibilities that should be confirmed before each order.
Shipping scope
Depending on the quotation, we may coordinate domestic trucking in Vietnam, warehouse handover, port delivery, export documentation support, import documentation support, sea freight, air freight, or delivery to the buyer's nominated forwarder. For heavy engines, generators, gearboxes, and used machinery, the actual shipping method depends on weight, dimensions, lifting points, packing condition, destination, and customs requirements.
Packing and inspection before shipment
Used engines and machinery should be inspected before dispatch. Typical checks include model plate, serial number, visual condition, missing accessories, oil leakage, alternator or gearbox condition, starter motor, cooling system, and available test records. Packing may include wooden base, crate, shrink wrap, anti-rust protection, drain preparation, or container lashing. The exact packing standard must be agreed in the quotation.
Documents
Common documents include invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of origin when available, technical catalog, used machinery inspection certificate when required, photos, serial number information, and any destination-specific permit or declaration. Some documents can only be provided by the seller, manufacturer, inspection company, or shipping line.
Lead time
Lead time depends on product availability, inspection schedule, packing completion, trucking slot, vessel schedule, customs processing, and payment confirmation. We provide estimated timing before shipment, but port congestion, customs inspection, weather, carrier changes, missing documents, and third-party delays can affect delivery.
Shipping charges and taxes
Freight, packing, lifting, warehouse, port, customs declaration, inspection, duty, VAT, storage, demurrage, and delivery charges are handled according to the agreed commercial terms. Unless a quotation clearly says otherwise, destination duties, taxes, port charges, and local delivery costs are the buyer's responsibility.
Risk and damage reporting
Risk transfers according to the agreed Incoterms or written order terms. When receiving heavy cargo, the buyer should inspect the package before signing delivery documents, take photos of any visible damage, keep the packing materials, and report the issue immediately to the carrier and Tuong Hoa ImEx JSC.
