II. Register for quality inspection, Certificate of Conformity

 

Importing organizations or individuals register for quality inspection at provincial Sub-Departments of Standards, Metrology and Quality. If you decide to open a customs declaration at any branch, you must record it in that province or city. (In case of not having accounts, importing organizations or individuals kindly choose “Sign up” then follow the instructions on the website).

 

Step 2: Create registration documents. Here, the assessment organization can choose Center 1 (Quates 1), Center 3 (Quatest 3), Vietcert, Quacert.

 

Step 3: Track the status, including 5 states:

  • Status “received”: the application is in the process of being processed after it has ben submitted. If the application meets the requirements, there will be a “Certificate of Conformity”

  • Status “newly created”: the application created and not yet submitted

  • Status “rejected to receive”: the application has been sent and is rejected due to unsatisfactory requirements

  • Status “additional record”: the application submitted and is asked to add more

  • Status “withdrawn”: the creator requested to cancel the application

 

III. The process of taking the samples for quality inspection at Quatest 3 for the super-fast kettles according to national standards QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN or inviting the Testing Center to be present at the warehouse taking samples: (After the system responds to the successful application)

 

Prepared documents:

  • Imported documents:

    • Including: the Contract testing made by Quatest: 2 originals; Customs declaration form, Certificate, Technical drawing: 1 photocopy.
    • Sample quantity: 2 samples/1 model.

    • User manual is translated into Vietnamese.

Sampling/Resulting time:

a. Ordinary

  • Take 2 samples/1 model: one for destructive testing, one for storage or for re-testing.
  • Certification fee
  • Testing fee (not including sample travel cost).
  • Within 30 days.

b. Typical manufacturer quality checks

Electrical safety test certificate IEC60335-2

  • Take 1 sample.
  • Certification fee.
  • Testing fee (not including sample travel cost).
  • Time within 3 to 5 days.

** You can open the customs declaration and carry out procedures put it into a bonded warehouse while waiting for the results.
